A Typical Day Here is an example of what a typical day at Camp Marimeta is like for your camper: 8:00 am The whole camp is awakened by music…aaaahhhh 8:10 am Camper waitresses are called to set their tables 8:20 am Flag raising 8:30 am Breakfast begins. Is today a bakers breakfast or a chef breakfast? Yummy either way!! 9:00 am Cabin clean up…how can I help my cabin win today? 9:30-10:15 am 1st Period activity 10:30-11:15 am 2nd Period activity 11:30 am – 12:15 pm 3rd Period activity 12:20 pm Waitresses are called to set their tables for lunch 12:30 pm Lunch begins. What is on the menu today? Chicken fingers, grilled cheese, burgers, tacos, chicken patties, or salad bar. 1:30-2:30 pm All camper rest period. A time campers get to write home to Mom and Dad, play Jacks with cabin mates, and talk about activities! 2:30 – 3:15 pm 4th Period activity 3:30 – 4:15 pm 5th Period activity 4:15 pm Canteen for a snack or soda 4:30 – 5:30 pm General activity period… It’s great to have time at the end of the day. After all regular activities, campers can choose to be anywhere in camp! Maybe tubing, rock-climbing, or swimming, today! 5:40 pm Waitresses are called to set their tables for dinner 5:50 pm Flag lowering 6:00 pm Dinner…I have worked up such an appetite after my busy day! 7:30 PM Evening Activity…the fun continues!! I wonder if we are playing Capture the Flag, Chaos v Control or doing skits with our cabins? There are so many fun evening activities to look forward to!!! 9:15 – 10:30 pm Taps is played to end the day. I always sleep best at camp!
